Why Choose This Pump?
Centrifugal solar bore pumps use an impeller to create centrifugal force, moving water at high flow rates but with relatively low pressure. They are best suited for shallow bores and applications where large volumes of water are needed quickly, such as irrigation or livestock watering. These pumps are generally lighter, simpler, and require less maintenance, making them cost-effective for situations with ample solar power and low head requirements.
Screw solar bore pumps, on the other hand, use a helical rotor in a positive displacement design to deliver water at lower flow rates but much higher pressure. This makes them ideal for deep bores, high-head applications, and systems that need consistent water delivery, such as drinking water or drip irrigation. They start easily in low sunlight, run longer hours, and handle sandy or viscous water better, though they require more maintenance over time due to rotor and stator wear.

Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes, we ship across Australia, including rural and remote areas. Delivery times vary based on your location. Free Delivery is to mainland Australia only and subject to change at Tuhorse's discretion.
When will my order be shipped?
shipped the next business day. However, we will endeavour to dispatch orders the same day where possible. Orders placed during holidays, weekends, or outside of business hours will be processed and shipped on the following business day. Once shipped, you'll receive tracking updates direct from the courier.
What is your return policy?
We accept change of mind returns within 14 days of purchase if the product is unused and in its original packaging. Custom orders and clearance items are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Products that are exchanged or refunded will also have a 20% restocking fee applied and return shipping if necessary. We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
